PRINCIPAL CONCEPTS FOR ENTREPRENEURSHIP

PRELIMINARY
One dimension of competence Principal / Madrasah is entrepreneurship. Entrepreneurship in this case means for the benefit of a social nature of education is not to commercialize the business interests of the school / madrasah. Entrepreneurship in education is taken characteristics (nature) as an innovative, hard-working, strong motivation, never give up, creatively to find the best solution, and have entrepreneurial instincts. All these features are beneficial to the Head of school / madrasah in developing the School / Madrasah, achieving success of the school / madrasah, perform basic tasks and functions, facing obstacles school / madrasah, and manage the school / madrasah as a source of student learning. Entrepreneurship is the ability to create something new in a creative and innovative ways to realize the added value. Creative means to produce something that has never existed before. Innovative means to repair / modify / develop something that already exists. Value means a better value than ever.


Some argue that the term entrepreneurship is an acronym for: Creative, Energetic, comprehensive insights, innovative, business plan, Aggressive, Tenacious, Supple, Enthusiastic, save, Asa, Ambition, Negotiative. Actually, there are many more properties that must be owned by an entrepreneur for example, risked by calculating, able to take advantage of opportunities, communicative, able to market, able to negotiate. But in this training material is restricted to the properties contained in the five entrepreneurial entrepreneurial competence according to Permendiknas Number 13 Year 2007 on the Standards for School / Madrasah.

 Entrepreneurship Development Goals
Interest entrepreneurship development for principals is that school principals innovative, hard work, have a strong motivation, unyielding, and creative in finding the best solution in order to become an example for the citizens of the school. Entrepreneurship refers to the nature, character and characteristics inherent in individuals who have the willpower to manifest and develop creative ideas and innovativeowned into valuable activities.

 Entrepreneurial spirit and attitude is not only owned by entrepreneurs, but also everyone who thinks creatively and act innovatively. Entrepreneurship is a creative and innovative capability as the basis of, tips and resources to seek out and take advantage of opportunities to success Being an entrepreneur means having the willingness and ability to find and evaluate opportunities, gather the necessary resources and act to take advantage of the opportunity. They are willing to take calculated risks and challenged with moderate risk. Entrepreneurs believe and firmly to himself and his ability to make good decisions. 

The ability to take decisions inilah that are characteristic of entrepreneurs. There are two types of characteristics or dimensions of entrepreneurship, namely: (1) the quality of entrepreneurial base includes the quality of the intellect, heart, and physical power; and (2) the quality of the entrepreneurial instrumental mastery across disciplines.


Quality Basic Entrepreneurship
1) Power Thought
The basic quality of entrepreneurial thinking has the characteristics / dimensions as follows: creative thinking; innovative thinking; The original thought / new / original; divergent thinking; thinking to develop; pioneer thinking; think creating new products and services; think of something that has never been thought of by others; cause and effect thinking; lateral thinking; systems thinking; think as modifiers (agents of change); think ahead (think futuristic); high intuited; think up; skilled decision; positive thinking; and the versatility of thinking is very high.

2) Power Hearts

3) Physical Power
the basic quality of physical power / body entrepreneurship has the characteristics / dimensions as follows: maintain regular secata health; maintain endurance / stamina well; have high energy; and body skills utilized for the health and happiness of life.

Instrumental Quality Entrepreneurship
Someone who wants to become a successful entrepreneur is not enough to just have the basic qualities of entrepreneurship, but the quality of the entrepreneurial instrumental (mastery of disciplines). For example, a school principal, superintendent, or head of the education department district / city, must have extensive knowledge in the field of work under the authority and responsibilities.

Ways of developing entrepreneurship conducted by phasing as follows.
(1) the self-evaluation of the level / level of entrepreneurial ownership. This can be done by filling the list of entrepreneurial qualities or answering a number of questions concerning entrepreneurship conducted sincerely and honestly. Charging results list / answer in the form of self-entrepreneurial profile.

(2) Based on the results of self-evaluation (self-entrepreneurship profile), then taken through various efforts, called "learning."
(3) Studying entrepreneurship can be done through various efforts, for example: think for yourself (our brain rich to think), read (books, journals, internet / web-site), internships, short courses, learning from successful entrepreneurs, direct observations in the field, dialogue with successful entrepreneurs, seminars, inviting successful entrepreneurs, listening entrepreneurial events on television, or other means deemed appropriate for him to learn about entrepreneurship.

Benefits of entrepreneurial competence for Principals
(1) Being able to create the creativity and innovation that benefit the school / madrasah.
(2) Work hard to achieve the success of the school / madrasah as an effective learning organization.
(3) Have a strong motivation to achieve success in carrying out the duties and functions as the head of school / madrasah,
(4) Never give up and always look for the best solution in the face of obstacles school / madrasah,
(5) Have an entrepreneurial spirit as a source of student learning, and
(6) Being a role model for teachers and students in the school, especially concerning entrepreneurial competence.

Head of school / madrasah as a successful entrepreneur must have three core competencies such as knowledge, skills and entrepreneurial attitude. These three interrelated competencies.

Competence is the acquisition of knowledge, skills, and attitudes. Knowledge is a collection of information stored in the brain and can be called if needed. Skill is the ability to apply knowledge. Attitude is a set of characters that make up the quality of one's personality. Someone who does not have the competence third will fail to become a successful entrepreneur.

Keterampilanyang needed by an entrepreneur is technical skills, business management and personal entrepreneurial spirit. Technical skills include: writing, speaking, listening, monitoring the environment, business engineering, technology, organizing, networking, management style, training, cooperate in team work ( teamwork). Business management include: business planning and establishing business goals, decision-making, human relations, marketing, finance, accounting, management, negotiation, and managing change. Entrepreneur soul personnel include: discipline (self-control), calculated risk-taking, innovative, change-oriented, hard work, visionary leader, and able to manage change. Figures successful entrepreneur in the field of education, among others Raden Ajeng Kartini who strives on pioneering era of awareness about women rights, KI Hajar Dewantoro Taman Siswa, Ciputra University of Entrepreneurship , and the school's founder Global Jaya.

CONCLUSION
